Dursley Chamber of Trade to be wound up A special general meeting of the Dursley and District Chamber of Trade and Commerce on 7th July voted to wind up the Chamber as there was only one business with anyone willing to serve on the committee. The Chamber has represented the town's businesses at promoted the area since 1952 .
SHOP FRONTS GET NEW LOOK! Shops in Silver Street are getting a Heritage makeover thanks to a Stroud District Council & Dursley Town Council initiative. Empty shops are being used for Art Exhibitions. Helen Hardaker from Uley has installed her lastest works at 25 Silver Street, and further exhibitions are planned in 40 Silver Street with discussions taking place about further properties.
Littlecombe Business Park Open The first phase of Littlecombe business park was opened by M.P. David Drew on Wednesday 23rd April 2008. This will provide small business units and the Chamber of Trade welcome the opportunity for more businesses to come to Dursley.
